Default Coolant temperature sending unit

I pick one up at my local auto parts store and this one reads about 25 degrees hotter. Is there a difference in sending units for vettes?

Sending units are matched to their gauge counterparts. It must have the right resistance. Check out lectriclimited.com. They might have the right sending unit for your year. If they don't have it try Eclkler's or MidAmerica.

Lectric Limited has the correct (configuration and calibration) senders.
