Default Big Block Car?

How can you identify an original big block car? The car in question is a 71. What is different about them mechanically, besides the engine and hood?

you can first check to see if it is a numbers matching engine.

numbers on engine will be on the front passenger side of engine. Match that to the vin on the front drivers side post.

BB cars have a 4 core rad, a rear stabilizer bar, & bolts & caps on the axle joints instead of U-bolts. There may be other diffs, buts that what I have found out. You may be able to tell what carb or carbs it came with because single holleys had a return line & apparently 3 x 2s didn't, hopefull some-one will confirm this?? You can also get an idea what BB due to redline, 5600rpm for a 390hp carb, 5600??rpm for the 400hp 3x2, the 435hp was 6500rpm? I believe & the L-88 I don't know? Please correct this if any part is not right, I know there's people on here that do know
