Last week I pulled the distributer on my 82. Ever since I have done that, my vette does not want to start when it reaches full operating temp. Gas drips into the intake instead of being sprayed in through the injectors. So what ever I did or did not do when I pulled and reinstalled the distributer has caused the the car not to start when it reaches 190 degrees. It has seemed to affect the fuel system as well. Fuel dose not spray, instead it drips. Any ideas?
If the fuel isn't coming out of the injectors in a conical shape, then your injectors are all gummed up, and need to be cleaned and rebuilt.
You probably need to replace the fuel pump and sock in the tank, and the frame filter also...
Pulling the distributer has nothing to do with the fuel dripping, get the throttle bodies fixed first, and then see how it works...
