Bell housings Interchangeable ?

Bell housings Interchangeable ?
Changing the cluch today and found a crack in my bell housing. Part number is 3899621. Friend of mine says he has a bell housing for an 11" clutch but doesn't know if it will work as it is # 6263756 and from a truck. Anybody know ?

i don't know, but it is not expensive to have the bell housing welded...we broke one of the mounting flanges off on the 700r4 and the local welding shop fixed the aluminum bell housing for 75 clams.
