I needed to purchase new seats, so I went the easy way and purchased new foam already covered. They look great, but I can't figure out how to get the new seats to fit into the clips on the frame (bottom and backs). It's almost like they are too big, but I know there not. Is there some 'trick' to getting the seat foam into the clips of the frames? Right now I just have the bottom and back resting in the frames, but if I don't have a passenger with me and I have to stop suddenly, you guessed it…the back goes flying. Besides from being embarrassing when that happens :bb, I am afraid it may cause a wreck I try to stop it. Any help would be appreciated.
It is easier to do if you have two people. Ther are clips on the back of the seat foam that go over the clips on the seat. Sometimes they are slightly covered with foam. While one person is squeezing the cushion, one side already clipped to the seat, squeeze the other side as close as possible, and use long scredriver to pry the cushion sprin clip over the seat clip. It is hard to do but it will go and will not come off. Good luck and don't be scared of it.

I agree...once you do one the other will be much easire once you get the feel of it. Some people also put a notch in the screwdriver to help catch the clips. Two long screwdrivers helps...one to push the clip over and another to guide it in.
I used a dremel tool and notched a long screwdriver. I also took off the edges off the screwdriver. It was easier for me with the seats out of the car.
