Default Vacuum questions - 1970

Ok, Did a 70' SB with AC come with a hot water shut off valve?

I have a white control line running to the engine compartment and over to where it "should" be located but there's no valve there......

The vacuum source that feeds the Climate control panel - it's a black line that connects under the hood with a "T" fitting - Where is the question?

Ok, Then what is the vacuum line with the white stripe in the engine compartment near the radiator over-flow for?

I need to know where the climate control source is connected under the hood. The AIM is not clear.

is it your wiper arm vaccum valve?

your should have 4 white vaccum lines

thin 36inch actuator relay to wiper arm vaccum valve
thin 100 inch manaul over-ride valve to "T" connector
thin 14 inch t-connector to RH headlight relay
thin 14 inch t-connector to LH headlight relay

that's a 71 anyway

Ok, yes I have the vacuum actuated wiper cowl.

My wipers seem to work fine and the over-ride works also.

So, I finally found the right page in my 70' AIM which seems to indicate there should be a hot water shut off.

Does anyone else have a hotwater shut off on a 70'?

My 72 BB with AC does not have a water shutoff valve and was made that way. I was under the impression this was unique for the 72 year.

I've planned on adding one to mine and have ordered one from a 71. It appears in earlier years to be mounted under the expansion tank on the right side. There should be two holes a few inches apart for mounting it on the inside of the fender. Check here for the evidence. Its the best I can offer. I will likely mount mine there.

its a thought anyhow
