I just installed the seal kit for my two leaky actuators. Everything went ok. I put the actuators back inn, mounting the lines and testing....pfffffft. Leaking really bad - both ! I go through the pain and once again unmount the actuators of the car. Looking at the seal, I guess you could say there is a leak. The hole seal just snap off at the base, and its the same on both sides !!
I can not see that I did anything wrong during installation. I claim that the quality is poor. Bought them from Eckler's. Has anyone else had a hard time with these seals ? I'm heading for a baloon or maybe a condom, I cant take this anymore

I agree, that looks like the rubber was just of poor quality and failed. I'd contact Ecklers & try for a refund, though of course the cost of the boots is minor compared to the time and PITA factor.
Just another example of crappy off-shore parts, IMHO. I'd rag on Ecklers about it (I've had to return things to them because of poor quality), but I think all of the vendors have to take pretty much what they can get.
