Hey fellas, whenever i turn my headlights on, my passenger headlight will open fine. It works perfect opening and closing. But my driverside headlight will open extremely slowly, and wont even close! I have already put a new relay valve on the driverside and still no luck. Hope u have some ideas.
Many have had good success with replacing the seals inside the actuators. The usual mail order places sell them. Not too expensive and it often solves the problem. In may case, rust was really bad and I had to replace them. I'd look into a rebuild first, though.
Start here, great troubleshooting tips. If your headlight is having trouble up AND down it's probably time for a replacement actuator. If it's just trouble coming up then you can get away with the $20 "witch's hat" fix that I was fortunate enough to only need when my left headlight started to act up.

One over looked thing to check is the four springs that assist the vacuum to operate the lights.
