Hidden nitrous system revealed
Here it is. It is a top shot system. You can see how we hid the fuel and nos lines coming into the air filter base plate. We snuck the nos line in the from the rear and T'd the fuel line going to the front carb bowl off for the fuel supply for the nitrous system. The fact this is a drop base air filter made it a lot easier to hid it. It is very hard to see, even with your head under the hood. A local guy with a stout 540 Chevelle was convinced Kevin was running nitrous and spent several minutes with the hood open looking for it, he could not find it.
You can also see we hid the 5 lbs bottle in the trunk inside a tool box. The bottle is not in there because it is empty and needs filled.
I saw this one guy hide his bottle inside the speaker box for his subwoofers. This was a dual 12" box so he fit a full sized bottle in there.
also he removed the magnets behind the speaker cones, so it could all fit. pretty slick and sneaky set up.

Norval, I was a little concearned it might lean out the front bowl, but we have had no problems with this jet. It is actually a very mild tune, made 60 rwhp on the dyno. We may hit it with the bigger nitrous jet and try to go a 9.9
George, if you look you will see a black donut shaped thing right over the center of the carb. It holds the jets and has an individual spray pattern for each carb venturi. You have to be a little careful when you run a top shot not to spray the nitrous or fuel into the booster, or you will screw up the signal and the car will run VERY rich.

Is the corvette forum picture posting down now? I could not get to my home page pic area?
It is on a 528 in. motor. The hp setting ended up being 60 rwhp. The car runs 10.40's on the motor, maybe 10.30's. We think it will go 10.0's maybeeee a 9.9 on a good track with good air and traction with the current set up.
Hey an extra 60 across the board is better than nothing. It is a trick setup. You just need it to go down to a spray plate spacer. Then put in the 175 hp jets.
