need help mounting grills on 69
just got the car from paint and with a new front end on it I do not know where to mount the brackets for my 3 grills. anyone that can show me a up close pic I would greatly appreciate it.

At least on my 76, there are a pair of 1/4-20 nuts welded onto the metal support that runs at the top of grill cut-outs. The supports bolt into these (so that they hang from the top of the grill openings), then you use speed-clips on the brackets to mate up with the grills. I suspect that the 69 is reasonably similar.

ok I see in the pics that the center grill bracket is the same one that the outside grills bolt to on the inside (oposite end of the park lights) that is the bracket in question. Does this bracket just bolt right thru the bottom of the fiberglass with small bolts? I am wondering this cause there are no holes in my front end and I want to be forsure before a hole goes in the new paint.
