it back on with adhesive. The panel adhesive sets like bondo ...
speed depends on amount of hardener. You run out of time quick.
The screws help to line it up quickly and keep it in place until
the first round of adhesive sets up.
At first, I bonded at the trailing edge of the fender (door edge)
and the top corners/top of firewall. Once that set, I used a ziplock
bag with the corner snipped to apply the adhesive like a cake-decorator.
Using this, it was easy to go back and bond between the fender and
the forward edge of the firewall ... pushing the
adhesive between the 2 panels.
Make sure you get off most of the old adhesive and grind/sand
the surfaces that you are bonding.
Dry fitting with the screws (IMO) is the most crucial step.
Do this with the doors on - then remove doors before using
adhesive. A quart was enough to do mine.
