Scortcher T/A
tread is looking like a drag radial??? or ?? but the BFGoodrich factory tag on the tire says, high perf dry and WET handling....but with the way the tread is slick on the outer edge and no water grooves...it seems well, less than desirable for the car front end??
rong, or it's ok??

. The only thing I question about them is, they are the same tire for both sides, with the slick portion always being mounted on the outside. The water grooves have opposite direction radius's because of this, so I don't know if one side is going to work much better of worse getting rid of water compared to the other ? The rubber on the Scrotchers is harder than that on my 3 year old Bridgestone Potentza tires. I haven't determined yet if I will be giving up traction with the Scorthers or if they will soften after some miles are put on them for better grip.
How do the front tires fit, any rubbing? These are bigger than the 255/45/17 that I still have on the front.
damn pistons cocked in the inside of the caliper...so that makes me wonder what in hell is going on....
I"m ready to just change calipers over to something much more common and reliable at this point....really sick and tired of working on these brakes, I have every trick in the book done/tried over the last ten years...O ring pistons, stainless, springs, all that crap, and IMO these calipers plainly SUCK,,...case closed...so another rant is over....
I did notice in a few spirited turns through the neighborhood here the car handles rather nicely....275's on the rear...
