Way To Increase A/C Airflow
Pull the rubber cooling tube off the evaporator fan motor and squirt some 3-1 oil in it. You'll notice a big difference unless your motor is brand new.

I don't have a C3 evap motor in my '77 any more--it's one from a C4.
I did this today on my Dodge van and in the past on my 'vette.
However, look at the motor and you'll see it no problem.

why would squirting 3 in 1 oil ,down the rubber breather tube ,,make the blower motor push more air?what good could oil do to getting in between the field and the armature?? do you mean to oil the bearings of the blower motor?
