Replace heater core
I am replacing the heater core in my 1977 corvette with a/c and I can not remove the cover to the heater core after I removed what appears to be all the screws holding it.
I looked out side on the firewall and did not see any screws or bolts that may be holding the cover.
I would greatly appreciate it if you someone could tell me
how to remove the cover.

Did my 72 a few weeks ago.....3 NUTS inside - under what "used to be the passenger dash" and ONE nut outside.....accessible from topside with the hood up. I removed nothing under the hood except ONE nut.

I did mine a few months ago. Three bolts on the inside, and one nut on the outside (engine-side passenger firewall).The hoses are kind of a pain to disconnect too...I ended up removing the floor heat shield thingy to get to the hoses.
