Default parts book

I am trying to get the vacumm systems sorted out on a 69 big block convert. It has been modified and for all I know there are parts missing as this has definetly been modified. My idea is to get a factory parts book which would show me what and where is needed to get this back to original. Can anyone tell me if there is such a book and where I could order ?
Regards, Daniel

You should pick up a copy of the AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) for your '69. It is the same book that the assembly line workers used when building the cars. They are available from many different sources but here is a link from one of the supporting vendors of this forum.

Also, one of the CF members sells a combination wiring / vacuum diagram that is second to none. Here is his contact info:

Also, I have a 69 BB Vert so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

The '69 AIM will have everything you want including original part numbers, parts location, illustrations of how everything was assembled at St. Louis, and which color-coded hose plugs up where. AIMs are worth their weight in gold, er, make that worth their weight in crude oil....

Dr Rebuid has diagrams in his online catalog. Should help with a quick diagnosis. Order an assembly manual to know how and where everything fits exactly.
