Found a set of front springs for a killer price and need your help to see if they are what I need. I am looking for the F41 heavy duty coils for my 1970.

The ones I found have an AC Delco part#45H0174 and a GM #88913487

thanks for any help

I can't do anything with those numbers, can you give me a number of coils? That would be the easiest. Thickness of an individual coil could also be used.

7 coils and don't know the coil diameter, but it looks pretty big. Seller says they are standard coils and not the F41 springs I am looking for. The springs on the car now also have 7 coils.

Are they brand new or used? Why not get some VBP 550's and be done with it. Unless he is giving them away and are new I think the 550's are the way to go. I installed my 550's when I did my rear suspension (front was done but I never changed the springs) and I like them. They will even lower the front a little.

The GM part numbers for the F41 springs are 3832518 (front), and 3877578 (rear). They had spring rates of 550 lbs/inch, and 305 lbs/inch, respectively.
