Shorties or Full

I just ordered true duals from eklers for my 79 and need to know if short block hugger headers will work or do I have to use the full lengths?

Headers

Hey, my name is John. I just bought a set of hooker headers/ exhaust from Corvette Central, Pn# 323902. I dont know what headers you will need but I can let you know how mine turn out, they'll be on in about a week or so.

IMO, Shorties are not much better than good original cast manifolds. Spring for the long-tubes....

The performance difference is not that big of a deal to me. I'm more concerned with clearance. Most full length headers I see tend to get into the limited ground clearance. I'm curious if the shorties will interfere with steering linkage or anything else.
