Default Oil Pan on Stroker

2000 miles on motor. There has been a leak right by the filter looked like the gasket was put in bad.Today I drop the pan to find the crank is hitting the pan right on the gasket flange. Now I have a small crack.By the way the dents are in the pan it must of happend at first startup.I got it with 1000 miles already on it.
So was the wrong pan put on?Do they make them for bigger cranks?

Default My new Moroso Kicked-out pan

had that problem too, but fortunately the engine builder dinged the pan out a bit for clearance. Had to use a small 12-point bolt (1/4" size head) cause the standard hex head bolt would not clear the side of the pan , Also had to file down one side of the washer and gooped it up real good with RTV sealant to prevent leaking. If I had it to do over again I would RTV each bolt just to be sure no oil seeps by them.

I used the Felpro one piece 375-1880 oil pan gasket on mine, this one is clearanced for strokers and has the large front oil pan seal.

Good luck
