Yes, they use vortec heads on the 330hp GM crate eng. Have seen some mag articles with varying max lift specs for Vortecs from .460 to .480, it might be a variance from production heads they put on vehicles compared to the ones they sell aftermarket.

I have a 350/330 hp crate engine cam if your interested.
It has about 2000 miles on it. I changed over to the LT4 Hot Cam kit in mine. I also believe that I still have all the lifters (in order) in a box. I'll have to check.
