Default just four bolts

just four, slide seat forward to get to the bolts in the back, or vice versa then be careful removing from car as notto scratch finish

'74s have a wiring connection on the underside of the seats for the seat belt interlock. No big deal, but you have to unplug it to remove the seat.

Some (older I think) have 2 bolts on each rear ... 6 total.
However, that should be obvious once you get in there.

if you plan on taking it out ever again studs work very nice if you take the time to do it.

what do you mean by studs? my seats were a bear to get out...the tracks were gummed up and the fiberglass around the bolts was frayed. are you talking about maybe sinking some sort of threaded metal piece in the floor? like a nut or something?

That's the basic definition of a Stud ( a threaded shaft), not to be confuzed by looking in the mirror (You StUD!).

You could also use a carrage bolt (after patching up the frayed fiberglass around the bolt hole) comming up from underneath.

After setting your seats onto the bolt/Studs, you would use a nut to secure the seats to the floor.

I pulled mine not too long ago, and didn't have any problems.
