Battery Gauge on '76
Since completing a tach rebuild, I now have a battery gauge which works sporadically - with each start up it alternates between staying at a constant 0 or going to approx 10 amps then declining to approx 1 or 2 amps. Previous to tach rebuild it worked all the time. All other gauges are working correctly (so I do not think I messed anything up when the dash was dismantled). The wiring and connector look to be in good shape at the distributor, through the firewall and to the gauge. What else is there to check for?
