Default 71 Ignition Wiring Question

I have a 71 LT-1 without the TI ignition and I'm not sure how to connect the wiring to the coil.
I believe that the Yellow resistor wire that is combined with the black/purple wire connects to the poisitve side.
Where does the negative side connect in the harness?
and I believe the points simply connect to the positive and negative side.

Thanks,
Ron

The negative side of the coil connects to the distributor [points] lead (black).
