There is no port, I disconnect the line at the front throttle body, test it there. Keep in mind it will only have pressure for 2 seconds, unless you are cranking it, or it is running.
I traced the wiring on the injection circuit and found a bad connector on the upper A.I.R switch. With that fixed, now the fuel pump sounds different when it fires up before cranking and the AIR system is vacumming up.
At the injectors, there is much more persistent drip but still no spray.
The injectors are not making any noise.
No signs of any other pinched or broken connectors, shorts, grounds, burn/melted wiring.
the injectors don't make a sound when there's no fuel pressure, your system is not pressurized and with the pump running it means the pump is shot (vanes broke off) or the pump to metering unit hose came off..
Never mind, for future reference have the assembly upside down.
I got it out of the car.
The wiring leads for the 85 pump will require some cutting to work correctly. Do I bypass the condenser-looking thing linked in series with the positive lead to the pump? Its attached to the housing, do I leave it and wire into it as the 82, or do I cut around it and leave it out of the circuit?
I am almost ready to put it back in, just need to sort out the wiring.
As its going back in, enough light got into the fuel tank to reveal the source of all my problems. No my girlfriends hair wasn't stuck in the bottom, it was EMPTY! The fuel gauge must have crapped out at 1/2 tank and here I am cranking away wondering why there's no fuel...
More to follow after pump secured and a quick run down to the gas station with the jerry jug.

The fuel sending unit got thoroughly cleaned along with the whole intank assembly. All connections checked out. The gauge is now accurately reading the 5 gallons of premium pump swill that I had poured threw a tiny damn funnel.
Turned the key to on and it sounded like somebody flushed a toilet there was so much fuel filling in the injection system.
I cycled it on-off a couple more times until it sounded ready, turned it all the way, and it sparked right up as quick if not quicker than it ever has.
A test drive throught the local mountain preserve is in order but....
ITS RAINING NOW here in Arizona, twice a year and it had to come down tonight........
I'm gonna pull up the radar and see just how long....
