I'm dropping in a 427 which has an Edelbrock intake which won't fit under the hood. Anybody have recommendations other than the stock intakes? I'm having a hard time finding a stock aluminum one and the only one I've run across so far that may fit is the Torker II. It's a single plane though, so I'm still looking. Tnx!
What rpm are you taking this to?? nothing wrong with a single from off idle to 6000.
From Vics web site-
Torker II® Manifolds (2500 to 6500 rpm)
These single-plane, low-rise intakes work well for high-rpm, high-performance street applications. Ideal for applications where hood clearance is limited, they produce gains in top-end horsepower with adequate throttle response. Not intended for mileage or emissions applications, they are only for high-performance vehicles.
Long discontinued but still available on ebay. Low rise single plane with small phenum and runners so it works wellover a wide rev range. I assume you have oval port heads? Im running one on my 70 with a half inch spacer.
