I converted my 74 over to electric fans and the AC shop had me wire the fans to come on when the AC is on. Without the fans staying on the head pressure on the AC compressor would rise and then fall back down when the fans kicked in. To keep head pressure low, I installed a trinary switch in the high pressure line and uise one set of contacts to turn on the fans.
