Default lopsided front end on a 71

My 71's front end is sitting lower on the driver side. By measuring, 1/2 inch lower at the wheel well. But, the front bumper measures 1 1/2" lower on the driver side. I have just replaced all bushings/bearings and coil springs on the front end. I need ideas as to what to try to correct this. IDEAS???

The first thing to do is to determine it is suspension or body/frame related.

Jack the car up on blocks or stands on a level floor. Measure from the slots in the side rail to the floor and level the frame with the floor. Then take your measurements. If the body is still not relatively level you have a frame or body problem. If it is level, then it will be suspension related. While you have it in this position measure points of the frame front and rear to see if the frame might be bent. You should be able to determine which area you need to work on.

How was it before you replaced the front suspension?

FYI, lowering the drivers rear (spring bolt) will raise the passenger front end.

The car was squatted. The coil springs were shot. Thanks for your advice, I'll try it tomorrow. Then I'll raise it and try to determine frame or suspension problem. (thanks wombvette)
