taking out the door window motor
Hi
does anyone have an exploded diagram of the 74 passanger/driver doors that shows how to take it all apart? i need to tear them down to clean off the 2 arms that raise and lower the window and also replace the locking mechanism.

There is a diagram in the AIM manual, there's also a procedure to adjust the window for proper seal in there as well. I don't have a scanner any more, it crashed. Maybe someone can scan the page and e-mail it. You really should get the AIM manual, it's a big help with a lot of things. Be careful of the window spring when you take that door apart. It can slap you silly.
