Default Could disconnecting Air con effect drivablility...

Hi,

I have posted recently of the problems Im having with my vette....trying to troubleshoot the problem.
The problem Im having is hesitation on acceleration at low RPM's...and the car doesn't feel its got the power that it should (you know, corvette power! )

Anyway, the car apparantly ran well before it sat for 4 months on its journey home from Vegas to Sydney.

I was thinking...well what the hell has changed since? So, could be vacuum leak, ignition problems, carb, fuel filter and stuff!

But one thing did change since that inspection that said the engine ran well......

I had to get an air conditioning guy to take off parts related to the R12 ...drier and seals/valves? As you are not allowed to bring any R12 components into Australia (they are banned).

My question:
So, could have taking these components off the air conditioning affected how the car ran at low RPM's?

The rest of the airconditioning components are in the car and connected.

Thanks for your help!
