MKearney I replaced the straps on mine when I did the interior color change. You can find the seat belt webbing on ebay. I ordered 50' of black for a total of $16.50 deliverd to my door. Took the retractors apart routed the webbing and carried them to a local shoe shop and had them sewn for $10 (including the original tags). I have some extra black webbing if you need some, let me know.

I am about to do the same thing. I want to change the buckles on mine. I like the more modern buckles. I like the new "male" ends that slide up and down the webbing with no restriction. The original model buckles that I have when the belt retracts the buckle stops it from retracting all the way (because I am a big person) and the left over strap flops around and ends up getting in the door latch. Now the strap has been closed on a few times and I don't really trust the webbing any more.
No one (but Snake Oyl) seems to want to deal with seat belts. I can not afford them so I am going to have to do them myself. No upholstery shop in town will do them due to liability. I want new webbing, the newer style male and female ends and to make the female end a bit longer. It's always stuck between the seat and trans tunnel and I want it to hang out further where you can buckle it better.

Problem is that it takes them 4 to 6 weeks! They're to darn busy for their own good. I have called them a couple of times and gotten the same answer. And I don't want to be out of my ride that long
