Someone mentioned the Richmond... Any thoughts on that?
I just replaced my Richmond six spd with a Keisler TKO-600. the ROD was not able to hold up behind my engine evan though I have always ran with BFG radial TA street tires that don't hook up at all. Second gear is on its way out for the second time in as many years.

Thus far I have been very pleased with the service I received from Keisler.

I'm smack dab in the middle of the ROD Swap. I had a problem with my Muncie in that after it warmed up it would not go into 3rd gear without double clutching it and some times not at all. I drained it and filled it with Synthetic and it shifts like a dream I just cant take the RPMS at highway speeds

I thought long and hard about which gears and which tire diameters to go with and ended up at 3:36 instead of my original thought of 3.08. (I have 3.90 gears and 26.4 inch tires to begin with)

I hope I dont have a second gear issue, cause I'll fly down to Liberty South Carolina and have a word with the Richmond boys. They assured me that the ROD would hold up behind the 502 ramjet and were worried only with the OD selection. They said that only the 0.80:1 OD gearset would take the torque of the BBC available in the the "AK" roadrace version of the transmission.

Goof luck with your conversion.
