Key Buzzer stays on when key is removed - Help ...
I fixed my Key warning buzzer a few weeks ago, so let me take a stab at it
1. It is probably your key warning buzzer swtch in the column, but I suggest you eliminate everything else first.
2. Switch jambed - Drivers side forward switch controls this circuit and courtesy lights ... are your courtesy lights staying on ???
3. I think the circuit is the the last 2 wires on the connector under column - maybe pink w/ black strip and black ??? . Is it shorted ???
4. Key warning switch is available ( got mine from Dr. Rebuild ), instructions are in the shop manual, not too bad on a std. cilumn, but hear a tilt/tele is a VERY different story ...
It is a very simple circuit to follow ...
Hope this helps

If you find that you need to replace or repair the key buzzer switch inside the steering column head, here are links to complete instructions on replacing the switch. BTW, the T&T column isn't a whole lot more difficult than the standard (non-adjustable) one.

These are just a few of the many papers that I have posted at Terry Rudy's www.corvettefaq.com websight.
There are also pictures and descriptions of the steering wheel, horn parts, and the telescoping lock mechanisms if you need them.

The lights do not stay on. When I shut the door buzzer goes off and lights too.
Sounds like the switch in the column.
