Sidepipe mounting question

But I see no holes at the bottem of my chassis (below the doors), do I need to make them myself or are they hidden behind the rocker panel (moldings)?
By the way, my corvette is a '79 if that helps and these are the pipes I'm installing:
On my frame (1970) there are slots (holes) already in the side of the frame, Just bolt them on and your ready to go
Again these were hooker pipes, yours may mount differently..... But I would think they should mount the same way
One more item, I had to make some cuts on my rocker panels for them to fit, again you may not have to for your application
Good luck!!
Chris
So this it what I have now:
Which should be attached to this:
or this:
But as you can see I have screws but no holes... So my question is: should I drill some holes? Or is that a big no-no?

I'm just real new at all of this and I don't wan't to mess it up

P.s. the rocker panels will cover my brackets, may need to cut it a bit.
the keyholes mount the pipes.
they use carriage bolts that slide in from round opening, then they won't turn when tightning a nut on the other end.
the bolt goes through the pipe bracket with rubber washers followed by a metal washer then the nut.
just my .02
Quality of the pipes seems pretty good, though I'm not an expert on that. The pipe itself is steel and the cover, ingoing pipe and end tip are chrome I believe. My set came with enough bends to make it from the ramshorns to the sidepipes in about any route you'd like. Flanges (correct term? pipes with 3 holes, a triangular piece of metal and a gasket) to connect to the ramshorn were included too.
also what color blue is that?
The rims are from introwheels sizes are fr+rr 11 inch overall and tire sizes 245/18/40front and 275/18/40 rear. They are custom made. The color of my car is a original C5 color code GM 21 electron blue. Gets almost black in the shadow. The sidepipes on my wifes mildly modified '77 sounds good but still not loud. My '78 L-48 is highly modified with the sound of a BB and runs like a 454 big block. I have the ceramic coated Dynomax headers and the Patriot sidepipes, both from Summit.
More pics will follow. Last monday I just fitted the doors and looks great now
I'll keep you posted.
