Hi To All,
I am in the process of ordering new felts for the door that scrape the outside of the side windows, any ideas as to how to remove them? I removed one screw from each end but nothing moves. I was trying to remove the stainless piece that holds the felt in place? I can't see any other screws ? Also, if I finally do remove the piece, how is the new felt held in place?, there don't seem to be any other screws anywhere. Also, can anyone recommend a good source to order the felts from at a reasonable price ? There not made of gold, just rubber and felt. On place wants $75.00 for a pair that is correct ? Sounds high to me, any comments.
Thanks and have a GREAT day

They are held into the door shell by "Split *****". Use a flat blade screwdriver between the felt seal and the stainless molding. Twist and pop them out. It helps if you loosen up the anti-rattle glass bumpers (2).

These are plastic pins with a split head. The stainless strip snaps onto them. Sometimes the holes in the metal don't line up with the pins...so you might have to drill.
