I've run these tires religiously a two of my cars for years and never had a problem.

These tires have great traction too. I've pulled consistant 1.80 sixty foot times when I've taken my '71 to the track.
Dang, I am using 26x11.5 ET-Streets, and I have to work at getting 1.80 60 ft. times..Guess I need to learn how to launch!

Default cooper tires

Cooper tires has decided to prorate the tires on the corvette. All four tires. They don't know what is causing them to tread separate but are willing to prorate them. They are thinking because the car is not driven enough that they are getting flat spots. What do you forum members think? Should I go with four new coopers on a prorated basis? BTW they say tires are speed rated to 118 mph. This came after I emailed them at the factory; based on their website support email. I do appreciate the consideration, but am I just going to go through this again? The car is driven primarily to car shows and cruises and an occaisonal trip. Other than that it sits.

Here in Aus we can't get those AVIDs. I am running 235 and 245/60/15 Yokahama 352's. it is an old design tyre but has reasonable grip. Much better than the TA's I tried in the past. On my Bonneville (thats a 68 bonnie ) I run Kumho 225/60/15 KH11's and they are the best tyre I have EVER put on this big car. I might even be tempted to use them on the Vette when my stock of 352's runs out.

If you have lost confidence with Cooper go to Yokohama Avid St's.Very good tire, good tread wear, excellant wet weather traction...it is available in 255-60-15.I run the 245-60 15's.
Wish I could say same for Goodyear's. ..BF Goodrich would be my second choice....
