Default Vacuum issues

So I was putting my alternator back on today, and I think that I accidently unplugged a large vacuum hose . It was running with the headlight vacuum lines on the driver's side, then cut across over the alternator and onto the engine somewhere. I noticed that there was a fitting on the carb that didn't have a hose, so I assumed that that was it and plugged it in there. Seemed to work, but would like some feedback as to whether this is right or not.

Secondly, my windsheild wiper fluid doesn't squirt . It's not life or death or anything, but I'd like it if it would work. In my car, the wiper fluid line goes from the fluid tank to the wipers, and there's a little t somewhere in between. What connects into this??? I looked around for about half an hour and didn't find anything. If I can find it it might mean the end to all of my vacuum leaks

Order an assembly instruction manual (AIM) for your car. It will show the original hose routing and connections for vacuum and wipers, plus a blue million other helpful tidbits. AIMs are worth ther weight in gold. Your windsheild washer may need a replacement pump/rebuild kit.

the vacuum line sounds like the charcoal canister. should be hooked up to a vacuum port.

can you hear the pump when you push the switch? the line T's to go to each wiper. check to see if the lines are blocked .
