Common problem and many of us have done the same project. Don't chew off too much at the same time. Best thing is to work on all the rear or all the front at one time. There are always "while I was there" projects that will stretch out your one weekend of rebuilding.
Figure one weekend to tear down the rear suspension. Get some demolition blades and a sawsall to cut the trailing arm bolts. Start soaking every bolt/nut/joint with PBlaster now. Spray anything you intend to pull apart once a week for the next month. It will save you a lot of apin when you get to winter and go to pull everything apart.
You will need at least a week (after work 2 hours a day) of cleaning/corrosion control/painting and another weekend to put everything back on.
You can rebuild a lot of stuff yourself to save money but companies like Van Steel do suspension every day and usually give free shipping also.
Once the rear is done then progress to the front.
Buy some POR15 for the frame. Stuff is tuff and works great.
Good Luck.
Heres a pic to inspire you.

Cheers,
Pete
