Okay, this one needs some more details

What did you do about the oxygen sensor

have you checked for stored error codes by shorting the aldl diagnostic terminal on the aldl plug (under the ashtray) witht he engine off and the ignition in the on position???

Furhter things to check when a crossfire runs bad:

general tuneup, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, module

Then there's the possibility of a vac leak, especially around the intake lid gasket or the throttle body base gaskets, also check the different vac hoses for leaks, easiest by just pulling them one at a time and plugging the port on the tb. sometimes people forget to hook up the thermac vac hose after removing and reinstalling the air filter base.

Also check the TPS for proper setting and check the coolant temp sensor in the front of the manifold, if you have the old type with the mushroom style connector replace it with the later weaterpack style as a safeguard even if the old sensor and connector are still good, these are known to be vulnerable to moisture and give bad readings

Default i screwed up my own thread!

Correction 81 corvette
i am running on short amounts of sleep been busy going on vacation!
I just removed the oxygen sensor from the car the carb is in ok shape, the vacume lines suck but i think are still functioning there is a problem when i go to replace anything I am in germany and parts are a pain! if I were in the states engine would have been out and done! I apprciate your advise the plugs are new tune up recent and the problems started when my wi--- I mean I bumbed the car into someone else car my turnsignals shorted out and she has not run the same since! I was going to replace the ecm and chip with ecklers ecm and pro chip replace the vacume lines any bolt on hp builders that are inexpensive would alos be of help! thanks
