Radiator Fitment???
Does anyone know if a 73-76 radiator will "bolt right in" to a 78 L-82? After a few engine mods (and addition of a serpentine belt kit) I need the earlier radiator due to the curved upper hose neck, but would desire no other mods be required to install it.

I have a replacement 76E (73-76E) radiator mounted on a 76L radiator support. The radiator fits just fine on the support, but it lines up with only one of the brackets very well. There are early and late brackets (I have both sets), but neither wants to line up with the rad any better than the other. I belive this has to do more with my rad being a $300 replacement rather than an original. I think that if you use the "late"
brackets you should be fine.
