Default Headlights & Other leaks

Hi Guys, 1st time posting but I've been reading some.........just got a 72 350/350 and I've got a few problems that I want some input on. First of course is the headlights when you start it up and pull the switch driver side comes up about 1-2 inches and pass. side about 1/2 inch, I've all ready gotten the rebuils kit for the Acutators and plan to do that any other thoughts? And the wiper door opens all by its self about 90 seconds after the car has been started?????????

2nd looks as if all the power steering, Ram and hoses has been replaced and I've still got a leak any thoughts?

Thanks Greg

You have vacuum leaks. Check the hoses for cracks. Also check the splitter valve, this is a valve that should be in between the manifold source hose and the vacuum canister and has one hose coming in and 2 hoses going out. Most are mounted on the firewall. This is a one way valve and prevents vacuum from leaking back into the manifold when the engine is not running.

Sounds like you need to poke around with a vacuum guage. Mid America has a pretty good vacuum troubleshooting guide and you should be able to get quite a bit of info here by searching for threads on the vacuum system. Or, take a look here:
