Default 69 L36 Stock compression

I'm in the process of tearing down a 69 numbers matching L36 car and before I remove the engine I want to check the compression on all the cylinders. The odometer shows 125,000. I bought the car about 3 months ago according to the seller the engine was rebuilt at 70,000
Assuming the engine was rebuilt to original specs does anyone know what cylinder compression i should have.

I don't know if this helps, because I don't know the previous history of my motor, but it is a 69 427/390. I just checked compression about 2 months ago and all 8 cylinders came in at 180psi. I will be interested in seeing what others say is correct.

all 8 of mine read 153 psig. 427/390. consistancy is whats important anyway.

the heads have never been off, motors never been out.

I did a compression check last night all cylinders were between 175 and 180 except for one the third one from the front on the passengers side i guess it would be number 6 cylinder was only 155. Why that one was so much different i don't know, but i checked it more than once and could'nt get any more than the 155. It might have been like that from the rebuild who knows. I'm thinking i should'nt have to bore it this time maybe just a honing and new rings. What do you think?

Good idea i'll try that. I'm thiking it might be a valve, but that way i'll be sure. Thanks.
