Default Brave Man, not sure I would trust those jackstands

on Cinderblocks, afraid the pressure point of the stand legs would cause them to crack.

You really ought to put those jackstands up higher or some solid pieces of wood under them...but I like the project!

yep, jacking up my 78 scout 2 weeks ago on the front end with a 345 installed, it cracked a solid cinder block causing major problems;

replaced the block with oak blocks, good to go

My friends brother died when the cinder block he had the car on broke. Crushed his chest. Cinder blocks are definately dangerous. Go for the oak and the jack stands. I always try to have a backup support when I have to get ll the way under the car anymore.
