Default engine for the 75 pro street almost done

bottom end is done. mocked up the top end. need to get some more hardware for it. longer cylinder head studs, 12 point bolts for the manifold etc... then it's on to the frame.

Nice.
Time to show off the toys? Or taking pix before they get all dirty?
My guess it won't pass smog.

I just didn't think that it didn't have enough room behind the blower.

Does that blower have a burst plate on the front?

I envy blower motors.

That motor is ridiculos for a vette. Just think of the stuff you'll tear up. NO way you should put that in your car. NO Sir, instead I'll come pick it up and take it off your hands to save you some trouble

That looks sweet keep us up on how everything is coming along.

I envy blower motors.
George there is sufficient room behind the blower to run a small distibutor cap. The pop off for a backfire is located at the back and to the left in this picture. It is there. It is located in the intake manifold.
I found putting the accessory drive behind the blower pulley didn't allow the alternator and power steering pump to fit down low and in front of the heads. I put my accessory pulley in front of the blower belt. This allowed me to leave the spacer off the blower and the belt sits about 2 inches closer to the motor. Less cutting of the hood and easier on the crank with the big blower belt sitting back closer to the front bearing.
