Default 80 console trim plate

Hi everyone! New to corvettes and this forum. I'm sure this question has already been asked at some point but does any one know how to remove the emergency brake console cover and the console trim plate that surrounds the shifter, ac unit, ashtray etc, on an 80 vette. I want to replace those parts. Thanks.

Whoops, sorry in wrong Forum will repost

It's pretty straight forward, the screws you see are the ones that need to come out. A really good investment is an AIM manual costs about 25 bucks and shows ALL those details, not just the interior, but the entire car. It's the manual the factory used to assemble the car. You can find them from one of the supporting vendors or on e-bay.

AIMs are worth their weight in gold. Order the 1980 AIM and a reproduction owner's manual if you don't have an original.
