HD aluminum offset trailing arms
I was thinking about Trailing arms....
How about using aluminium to fab the trailing arms instead of steel. The Van Steel units are no doubt stout but they are HEAVY. Boxing in the back side and making the flange that mounts the spindle a bit thicker would likely do it.
Better yet a bit of FEA to see what is really needed...
They sure would look nice with my tubular lower control arms
And my titanium rotors

Build the whole chassis out of titanium as well, you should be good for 6seconds in the 1/4 and a minute off your lap times.
Titanium = fastest car on the track

As far as Aluminum goes; you better know what kinds of loads it will see and design accoringly, they would not be cheap to make either
