Need specific location of headlight washer fittings. It seems they are mounted in a hole drilled in the bezel. I've seen pictures but I need specifics /measurements. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Not trying to be "a smart ****", but the original bezels were "predrilled" with a "D" shaped hole. The original bezels were pot metal, while later ones were fiberglass.
The "D" holes prevented the washers from rotating. The washers themselves are also "D" shaped. Simply drilling a round hole might cause problems. Chuck
If you have metal bezels with no holes, they're 68. Could easily sell those and get the metal with the "d" holes you need.
If you are modifying a plastic piece it will be difficult as Chuck mentioned. There were also different locations for the lower hole. Some on the lower horizontal between the lights, and some on the vertical plane between the lights. directly below the upper squirter.
There's been some discussion that the original location,(on the horizontal surface ), made removing the bezel impossible without removing the lower nozzle first. The later design on the vertical plane between the lights, allowed removal of the bezel without removing the squirter. Time line change in design is not clear but late 70, early 71 may be about right.
hmmm..I did not know that. I see bezels for sale all the time and never saw one with the D hole or any other hole for that matter. The headlight washer fittings do have a flat side . Makes sense it would fit in a D shape opening. Pot metal eh? Thanks guys, I learn something new here all the time!
Hi, did you get the pictures I emailed? If you drill a smaller hole...you can then file it out to a D shape. The pictures will give you the correct hole location and orientation of the D.
By the way....the LH bezel I measured was a factory pot metal one from mid-69 production.
