Need Help W/Air Cleaner Base
I've put a Holley 4160 on my 383 last year and I'm looking for a base for the stock lid, so far I've been told a Zip Products AC-59 would work as it is for the 70 etc, LT-1 which came with a Holley. I also looked at the CF Corvette store and they list the their part # AC-58 for the LT-1. Also in the pictures of the parts at Zip and the CF Store you can see the Qjet notch and I'm not sure if they are just using a general picture or what. Right now I'm running and aftermarket 2" and would like to bring it back to a stock look with a good base. Has anyone done something like this?

Yea thing are good, new job which I think you knew about. I have a couple of minor things to do since the 383, air cleaner is one steering is another, I've been think rack and pinion, but the steeroid is quit pricey on my military salary though. I think I could do some custom fab work with another like the Grand Am that's been floting around. How's thing with you and Kevin and his schooling?
I run a 750 Holley double pumper with the stock LT-1 (also used on LS6 and as the base for L88, and ZL-1) air cleaner. You will need to provide clearance for your double pumper linkage if your carb has one. I milled the choke horn off to allow better airflow into the primary bores.
