wiring help
Getting the trans rebuilt and wanted to locate the backup lamp wiring, ordered all the parts but started looking of the wires, are these the wires for it, green and red?
Next question, when I was under there is search of it I found this green wire (to the right of my fingers hanging by itself) going down the passenger side near the starter, anyone know what this does?

you can always go to the library and copy get the wiring diagrams outta the chevy books. i found complete wiring diagrams for every inch of my '74. It also displays the color of the wire. or i think ecklers might sell laminated copies of any given year.

You could order a full color laminated wiring diagram from Don. Includes the vacuum lines, lamps and fuses.

I ordered it first thing Monday morning from Volunteer Vette in TN, squeaked it into an order I had placed Friday night so I didn't have to pay any additional shipping. Thanks again all for the help.
