Default another 69 clutch problem

Under my 69 last night and noticed the lever going into the clutch that is pushed forward when the clutch pedal is pushed is up against the floor pan right under the gas pedal. It has worn a hole right through the floor. Is this adjustable or is everything out of place down there?

Something's wrong - it shouldn't be hitting the floor anywhere. The problem is that if you adjust something you might cause the clutch to be out of adjustment and not engage/disengage properly. Have you got any pictures you can show? Big Block? Small Block?

Sorry, it is a 350. The part hitting the floor is a lever that is cupped and held by pressure against an adjustable push rod.
