If you are into making plug wires (I prefer them).....
....get some Ultra 40 Race wires (out of the many available, they are fairly inexpensive and work very well). If you want a ready made set, the Bosch wires are a spiral wound (mag core) core, lifetime guaranteed, and fit pretty well.
There should be a radio noise suppression capacitor attached to the back of the alternator. The wire goes to the + terminal screw on the back of the alternator and the capacitor case is grounded to a mounting bolt for alt. Also, make sure no plug wires are touching any of the wires going to the starter, sometimes you can get interference there.
