Default Crosswind Air Gap, good or bad ?

Have anyone any experience of intakes from Professional Products?
Good quality or not?
$162 for a polished one.

For a couple of years I thought all their stuff was just knockoffs of other manufacturer's products and that MAY be true but they seem to gaining some credibility in the aftermarket as of late.

I have the same manifold. When you put one on you need to source some large area HARDENEDwashers for the 4 center bolt holes. These are the elongated holes that make the manifold usable for both types of small block heads. If you use non hardened washers they will bend and cause the 4 center bolts to lose torque.

Chinese..........................not saying that it is a bad intake at all but I have read that it is an Edelbrock Airgap copy.

The last one I seen had very ugly casting, and the runners had big
pit in them. I would not use the intake myself, but thats just my
2 cents on the intake

I think Summit used to sell them under their brand name (they slap their name on a lot of people's products). I have an Edelbrock, and from what I can see, they are identical. I wonder if they are Edelbrock factory seconds or something?

I have one and I think it was well crafted. I got it b/c it was cheaper, and it does come with center bolt hole inserts (4). So far I've had it for a little over a year and the bolts have maintained torque. Great product. Oh and I got it on Ebay no less !!!!

Their intake is 4.65" high, so it should not be any problem to install the Air-gap under my small block hood.
Edelbrock Air-gap RPM is 5.25" which might be to high.
